  • Clear and clean the drawer
    Empty your IKEA Alex drawer completely. Wipe down the interior surface to remove any dust or debris so the insert sits perfectly flat.
  • Angle and drop in
    Hold the insert by the outer edges, with 'stay-put' grooves facing you. Angle one side down into the drawer first, then gently lower the remaining side until the unit rests flat against the bottom.
  • Verify alignment
    Ensure the insert is seated flush against all four interior walls of the drawer. There should be zero sliding or shifting.
